Our commitment to responsible cable recycling

Madison Express is committed to responsible environmental practices, including the recycling and reprocessing of cable products at the end of their useful life. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we offer a take-back program for Garland branded cable supplied by Madison.

Why Recycle Cable?

End-of-life cable contains valuable material resources including copper, metallic screens and wires, PVC, polyolefins, and polyamide. Rather than sending these materials to landfill, Madison works with approved recyclers to separate and recover these components, minimising waste and supporting a circular economy.

How It Works

  1. Get in touch — Contact us to let us know you have Madison-supplied cable that has reached the end of its useful life.
  2. Arrange delivery — We will advise where and how the cable can be delivered to one of our Australian warehouse locations.
  3. We handle the rest — Madison separates the scrap by metal content and coordinates collection with our contracted recycler when sufficient quantities are accumulated.

Your Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for removing cable products from their installed location and delivering them to a Madison warehouse in Australia at no cost to Madison. All cable must have been originally supplied by Madison Express.

Our Commitment

Madison Express will accept end-of-life cable products that we have supplied, subject to the terms outlined in this document (Version EOL1.1, dated 25 March 2026). Our approved recycler provides waste skips at our warehouse locations and has the capability to separate material components for recycling.
