Trust Wisualarm products for Fewer False Alarms

Wisualarm products offer superior safety with Split-Spectrum Sensor Technology

Madison Express distributes a complete range of Wisualarm products, including high quality smoke alarms by Dahua, featuring Split-Spectrum Technology. This technology was created to produce a higher quality product, with fewer false alarms. It works by using two LED’s instead of one, as well as the Photocell catcher sensor. The system can differentiate between vapor, dust and smoke particles, which can therefore reduce the nuisance, stress and distraction of an alarm sounding unnecessarily.

What is Split-Spectrum Technology?

The internal chamber in every smoke alarm has an LED (Light Emitting Diode) and a Photocell catcher. Photocell catcher is a sensor which measures the amount of particles entering the chamber. When the catcher senses a quantity of particles reaching above a critical measure, the alarm will turn on the warning siren and a warning light. These particles may not be smoke. The sensor can mistake dust or steam for smoke, which can cause a false alarm.

Major benefit of Split-Spectrum Technology in Wisualarm smoke alarm products, is it’s ability to differentiate between smoke, vapor and dust, achieving a high degree of accuracy to minimise false alarms. Split Spectrum Technology works by using a red as well as a blue LED and a Photocell catcher sensor. By combining the data of particles detected under both LED’s, the system can differentiate between vapor, dust and smoke particles, reducing the number of false alarms, therefore reducing the nuisance and stress of an unnecessary scare.

Interconnect up to 24 wireless alarms quickly with minimal effort, using the Test/Silence button

These (DHI-HY-SA30A-R9) smoke alarms can be interconnected via the wireless system. When just one of the devices triggers an alarm, the signal will be pushed to every other alarm in the interconnected network and they will raise the warning alarm in unison.

Silence a trigered smoke alarm remotely - with the convenient HUSH feature

Smoke alarm being silenced by an infrared remote

All smoke alarms in the Wisualarm range also feature the convenient ‘Hush’ ability to silence the alarm using ANY infrared remote control. No more fumbling and safety worries trying to reach the alarm up high!

Wirelessly Interconnect mains powered devices using the separately available Wireless Module

Wisualarm Wireless Module installation into Mains Power smoke alarm

The Wireless Module is powered using the mains power connection to the alarm it is installed in. Simply plug in and wirelessly connect to a maximum of 24 WisuLink RF devices.

Monitor all Wisualarm devices remotely using the Wireless Gateway and a Wisualarm App

Wisulink, Wireless Gateway and an App interconnecting devices wirelessly

Wireless Gateway links with all products interconnected wirelessly using Wireless Module and WisuLink. It features dual communication based on Ethernet & Wi-Fi, and can be monitored remotely using a Wisualarm App.
