Fire safety is a critical element in any building or infrastructure project. Garland’s Fire Series range of Fibre cables as well as Copper cables including Cat6A, can be used in fire alarm, public address and security applications where circuit integrity under fire conditions is required. Manufactured using LSZH materials, these cables meet either the AS/NZS 3013 or applicable IEC 60331 fire survival test for 2 hours.
These cables are intended for the interconnection of heat sensors, smoke detectors, buzzers, sirens, manual triggers and “break glass” sensors. They are specially designed for Fire Indicator, Emergency Warning and Occupant Warning Systems and Panels.
Manufactured in either flat or round construction, with a red jacket to ensure that anyone working with them knows what they are. These cables are also RCM compliant which makes them suitable for use in systems connected to the telephone network.
Available in the conductor sizes from 0.5 mm2 to 6 mm2 and packed in 100 to 1000 metre lengths, there is a Garland fire alarm cable to suit your needs:

Garland’s GLT-RC fire-rated optical fibre cables are specifically designed to meet strict fire safety standards, while providing reliable and high-performance communication solutions.
GLT-RC series
The GLT-RC series of optical fibre are water blocked and UV Stabilised, making them suitable for underground use including in tunnels. They are suitable for use both indoors and outdoor applications, with a loose tube construction for improved crush and impact resistance. They also feature an Aramid strength member for improved flexibility when compared to standard loose tube designs.
The Fire Series range of Garland cables are designed for all your critical emergency circuits.
